Abraham-Hicks Prosperity Game – Day 9

by debbie on December 16, 2010

How to play the Prosperity game: Pretend you receive a new sum of money every day. Day 1 you’ll receive $1,000; day 2, $2000; day 3, $3,000, and so on. Your job is spend all of the money joyfully every day. No left overs. No savings. You have to spend all of it every day. C’mon. You have to try it. I love this game! It’s good for your wealth and health.

Today I’m going to focus on ‘home’. Since I’ll be moving shortly, I’m going to hire packers to pack and move the house. This is what I’m going to be doing when they are packing.

Packers and movers = $5,000

The balance of the money I’ll give to Habitat for Humanity. We have a pretty big chapter here in Sarasota including a Restore store where builders can donate surplus material. It’s then sold to the public at a reduced rate.

What would you do if you woke up tomorrow with $9,000 you had to spend that day? Leave me a comment.

What a coincidence! A couple of days ago I was daydreaming on the subject of “If I had a thousand pounds in my pocket and had an hour to spend the whole lot, what would I spend it on?” This while in a public bar. So, would I buy food and drinks for the whole bar? I’d still have cash left over! I was hard pushed to think how I’d actually spend it. These hypothetical “what ifs” are great for brainstorming and I like your version very much.

Hi Sean,

I really believe to get the ‘wealth mindset’, you have to start thinking like a wealthy person. I love how this game stretches my imagination! Thanks for stopping by.

One Love,
Debbie

I’d probably buy some stuff for myself and family then share some to our Church. I mean, on impulse I’d probably go shopping. But since reading your post, I think it’s good to share your blessings. Thanks for the inspiration!

Hi Ann,

We always think about our families. We want so much for them to be happy. I think most of the money in this game would be shared with family. And wouldn’t it be joyful to do so.

Debbie

If I woke up with that kind of money to spare tomorrow I would run after selling my apartment to move and go live near my dad who has Parkinsons. We live in the same city but 50 minutes away- I want to be able to just go over to his house almost daily and eat dinner or lunch with him and my mom.
Blessings,
Eren

Hi Eren,

My dad has Parkinson’s too. He’s had it for about 12 years. He’s really starting to decline. I’d love to make frequent trips to see him and my mom in New Jersey. My prayers are with you.

One Love,
Debbie

Hi Debbie,

Took your advice and my husband and I have been playing this game after dinner most evenings! I love it.

Once I got past paying off the house and van I really had to think hard about what I wanted. And pretty darned often I am sponsoring another child with Plan Canada!

Great game !

Hi Carla,

Isn’t it wonderful to get to the point where you have so much money it’s hard to spend? I find I am loving all the charity I can share with my new-found wealth!

Hi Melas, I wish it were my idea. I saw someone else play it on their blog. I really raises your money consciousness, doesn’t it?

Hello Debbie,

this game is from Esther and Jerry Hicks. You can read about it in their two books “Ask and it is given” and “Money and the Law of Attraction”. Actually the concept of “you get what you think about whether you want it, or not – it is all about inclusion through your attention to subjects or to the lack of subjects” was taught by them since the 1980′s. And in the first version of the movie “The Secret” Esther Hicks was the main person, later she was cut out.

I like your weblog and your energy! Sorry for my English,
with best wishes from Germany
