Creativity for Manifesting

by debbie on April 6, 2010

Is it possible to use art for abundance? What about creativity for manifesting. As we all know, the law of attraction helps us focus on what  we do want and not what we don’t want.

What do you want? Take a minute.

Now that you are focused on what you want; what if you made a collage about what you are wanting. What if you made some abstract art using your child’s crayons? Now won’t that image remind you of what you are wanting? Then you can use our creativity for manifesting.

I’ve just read a fascinating book by Sherri Gaynor called Creative Awakenings – Envisioning the Life of your Dreams Through Art.

Here is a portion of the forward:

“Creative Awakenings will invite you to honestly ask and answer your deepest questions. It will give you a safe place to begin to imagine the life you truly want to create, a way to look beyond what you can see now with creative exercises, tools and techniques to use along the way.”

This is Where Most People Quit

This is Where Other People Quit

This is my first art of intention. It’s my commitment to you to help you on your creativity journey. It’s called This is Where Other People Quit. I’m sorry the photo isn’t that great. It’s the only one I have as I have since cut this piece in half to place in a journal.

The result of this art of intention is the focus of this blog. Helping people use creativity for personal growth so they can find more abundance in their life. So you can use creativity for manifesting anything you want.

I totally believe in the Law of Attraction. Seen this in action at work with my colleagues who continue to focus and talk about what they don’t want and yet wonder why it keeps on happening to them. Oh well.

Art is an interesting form of creativity. I usually express mine in writing because I’m a total dork when it comes to drawings. But then again, drawing is not the only form of art. So I need to look into expressing my creativity through arts and see how it goes :-)

I’m involved with expressive arts which uses writing, movement (dance), and sound to help people tap into their true selves. It’s like therapy you can use on yourself.

That is so something I’d never have thought of! I need to start doing something like that, so I can stop thinking about what I need to be doing (& not getting anywhere) & just let it come to me.

Sometimes I decide what I want, and then make something creatively. Other times, I’m not sure what I want, so I make something and let ‘it’ tell me. It seems the subconscious has a great way of communicating through images. And you don’t even have to know how to draw.

I never thought about making something to remind me of goals, but have heard about this more than once. I might actually have to give it a try and make myself a “want” wall.

That’s a great idea. Vision boards are becoming very popular now! I’d love to see it when you finish!
