EFT Tapping – Woo Woo?

EFT tapping is a process of tapping on different parts of the body to relieve stress and to eliminate limiting beliefs.

I first discovered EFT in The Attractor Factor by Joe Vitale. And I have to be honest with you, it seemed a little woo woo to me. You know, a little out there.

Here’s a short video of Joe Vitale talking about EFT.

And as I struggled down the road of pursuing a life on purpose, I ran into a hiccup now and again. Although I would set an intention for something wonderful, it didn’t seem to show up sometimes.

How could that be? The law of attraction is always working. Why did it seem to falter at times?

Aahhhh hhhaaa! Limiting beliefs. Those counter-intentions that harbor in our sub-conscience. Apparently, I was getting in my own way.

The challenge was how to release those limiting beliefs. And one of the methods I learned about was EFT tapping. Now I thought it was a little out there, because how could tapping on different parts of my body release limiting beliefs?

How could addressing my fears allow them to disappear. Well, now wait. I’ve certainly learned that ignoring your fears or trying to suppress them only makes them stronger.

So, maybe looking at them and allowing them to exist… acknowledging that they exist… and loving myself anyway…. well, maybe I’d give it a try.

And you know what? I’d have to say, each time I use it, I always feel better. And, funny enough, things in my life start to change for the better.

So to learn more about EFT tapping, leave me a comment and I’ll send you some great links.

And repeat after me (while EFT tapping on your karate chop point), “Even though I’m afraid that……., I deeply and completely love and accept myself.”

Hmm.. okay tapping does sound a bit woo woo for me too. I might have to give it a try although can a person tap themselves to death? LOL I would have lots to do.

Hey, it’s woo woo for me too. But I always feel better when I do it. I agree about having lots to tap on. I’ve heard people say to try it on anything. I used it for setting a big goal and afterward I feel like I can really do it.

I think I’ve seen this technique on TV. If it’s the same thing, I saw/heard that just the action of tapping and trying to focus on something else helps you stop thinking about the stressful factor.

I’m not sure how it works. I just know that I feel better afterward. Some people refer to it like acupuncture. Even though it’s a little woo woo, I like the results.

That’s why I’ve been religiously going to a chiropractor because of the massages and adjustments they do to release tensions in the muscles and body that blocks the flow of energy. I started looking into accupuncture before but didn’t go any further because of lack of time. EFT sounds like a fun way to release those limiting beliefs we have (another blockage). Can you send me the link for this? Do you also have an affiliate link for holosync?

I believe that blocked energy causes us a lot of problems. Here’s my affiliate link for Holosync. I absolutely love Holosync and the benefits I enjoy are terrific. My stress level has dropped tremendously and I feel like my creativity is up. Let me know if you have any questions.

And I emailed you my favorite links to EFT including a free manual.

Anything sanctioned by Joe Vitale, the king of marketing is OK in my book. It’s only woo woo if it doesn’t work.

Hi Debbie,

Thanks so much for sharing this with us. I love EFT.
I was introduced to it about 5 years ago from my naturopath as an alternative to taking pain killers when I had a headache. It works so well. Would love to hear about techniques that help to deal with limiting beliefs. THere are a few of those I could use taking care of these days…

Make it a great day!
God Bless,
-ed

I think the beauty of EFT is you can try it on anything. One of my favorite is about money… Even though I may have limiting beliefs about money, I deeply and completely love and accept myself.

That’s a good one for me. And I’m so excited about your Dream Project. I’ll be following along!

Thanks, Jenn

I use stress as a gauge to help me make decisions. If whatever I’m thinking about lowers my stress, it’s good, if it raises it, it’s bad. Thanks for stopping by.

Hey Debbie,
I’ve never heard of this but it sounds a little bit like acupressure. I do acupressure on myself daily and it works miracles on me. Great way to relieve muscle tension. But I never thought of this physical act as something that could change something emotionally. My sister goes to a therapist that does something with colors and she says it really helps. I need to study more about eft tapping though. Thanks for sharing.

You know, when I first heard about it through Joe Vitale, I thought “Come on, really?”. But coming from Joe Vitale, I had to have an open mind. And I have to say, it’s nothing short of miraculous. Some issues I’ve tapped on could have me so anxious it would bring me to tears. But after tapping, all that anxiety would fade away.

And if it returns (which it does for big issues), I just tap again.
Debbie
