Louise L. Hay‘s new book, Experience Your Good Now, is fantastic for creating custom made affirmations designed to attract to you all that you desire. If you aren’t already using affirmations in your life, then you are missing out on some great stuff. And if you are using generic affirmations, they might not be helping that much.
We all know the benefits of affirmations, right?
- makes us feel good
- reprograms your subconscious to a new way of thinking
- keeps you focused on what you do want
Now I’ve been a student of the law of attraction for some time. And I have several friends who say that the law of attraction doesn’t work. What I think they mean, is that the law of attraction doesn’t work for them. And this is where limiting beliefs come in.
Limiting beliefs are the part of your subconscious that is contrary to what you really want. Say you’re interested in getting a new job. And as much as you try to draw it to you, it just doesn’t show up. Is that because the law of attraction isn’t working? It’s more likely that you have a limiting belief stopping you from getting that job.
The challenge is discovering that limiting belief so you can release it. And that’s where Experience Your Good Now comes in. This new book by Louise L. Hay helps you discover your limiting beliefs, then helps you set up custom made, personal affirmations to release them.
I’ve worked a lot with my limiting beliefs. But sometimes they seem so difficult to discover. When I read Experience Your Good Now, several limiting beliefs became glaringly obvious. And the beautiful thing was, I was then able to create custom made affirmations to release them. I think it’s really important to tailor your affirmations to your own experience. And Experience Your Good Now does that really well.
When you finish the book, you have a list of affirmations created by you that specifically helps you achieve your dreams. So pick up a copy, release your limiting beliefs and start living your life on purpose.

I believe on limiting beliefs – both the ones we are aware of and still impose on ourselves as well as the subconscious ones. The hard part is discovering about the subconscious ones. I used to work with two awesome ladies (one based in Texas and the other is local) in clearing these pesky subconscious limiting beliefs and affirmations is a big part of it. I’m curious about the book, I might have to check it out sometime.

Hi Debbie,
I believe that thinking positive is essential for a joy filled life. Entertaining negative thoughts will not make any situation get better and only gets us into the habit of a negative mindset.
Of course when bad things happen, we need to let it out of our system through crying, journaling, or talking to a trusted friend. But once it’s out, then we need to start working to help ourselves grow and grow into the joyous state.
Creating custom affirmations is a marvelous idea.
Blessings to you ♥,
Eren
I’ve really enjoyed this book. I’ve used affirmations for years, and worked on releasing my limiting beliefs. And surprisingly, this book allowed me to uncover some particularly stubborn limiting beliefs. And now I have custom affirmations for them. Yipee!
I can’t tell you how glad I’ve found this site. I’m doing these Halloween sites but my main interest is in spiritual growth. Affirmations and meditation are the backbone of my life and making my way through this journey. Thank you for doing what you are doing.
