We all know that gratitude is a keystone for using the law of attraction. We know that being grateful for what we already have, tells the Universe to bring you more to be grateful for.
Let me ask you. Do you have a gratitude journal? Do you consciously give thanks for the blessings in your life?
If you are like a lot of people, you are wondering why this Law of Attraction thing isn’t quite working for you. Or it’s not working fast enough for you.
When I’m coaching people on how to get the law of attraction to work for them, the first thing I ask them to do is to commit to a 30 day gratitude journal.
And even though people pay me for my services, more than 50% of the people DON’T start a gratitude journal.
When I ask them why they haven’t done it, I get a couple different reasons:
- they don’t have the time
- they did it a couple times and just forgot about it
- it seemed like they were writing the same things all the time and got bored
But I think the truth of the matter is, they think it’s too easy. Don’t underestimate the power of gratitude! It’s a very powerful tool.
And don’t forget to put the things you are manifesting into your gratitude journal. The key to the law of attraction is to ‘be happy now’. So if you have manifested that new car, house, job or mate you’d be really happy. So translate that happiness to your gratitude journal today.
And I’ve got a secret to turbocharging your gratitude journal. I’m preparing a webinar that reveals the secret. So sign up for my free report “How to Use Creativity for Personal Growth” and you’ll get my newsletter. I’ll announce the webinar in my newsletter.
But if you are not already using a gratitude journal, I can’t recommend it enough. It will help you access the law of attraction and start manifesting your heart’s desire.

Hello Debbie and thank you for these powerful words – GRATITUDE! I had a chance encounter with Carlos Santana and I asked him, “How are you Carlos?” and he responded, “GRATEFUL”! Isn’t that what we all should respond….it’s hard to be grateful at times in our lives but to remember gratitude and keep a gratitude journal is a great idea. I’ll start one now!
Please check out my inspirational blogs at http://www.blog.makegirlfriends.com.
Blessings and gratefulness to you,
Nancy
Woo Hoo, Nancy. Carlos Santana?!? What a great response. Officially changing my answer to “How are you”. That’s terrific. Thank YOU!
Great point Debbie! If only your clients understood the power of gratitude, they’d have a gratitude journal the rest of their lives! I feel incomplete if I have journaled, not to mention I receive immense joy from rereading older posts in my journal from years ago. My kids enjoy when I read them outloud because they’re always mentioned throughout the days. Having a gratitude journal is a gift you give yourself…yet your life transforms in the process.
Loved your article my friend
I love reading the earlier posts, too. It bubbles me up with gratitude. It’s amazing people will hire me to help them, then not do some of the simplest things. I think they think it’s to simplistic. If they only knew.

I agree being grateful not only brings out the best in you it brings out the best in others, I like to practice the absolute one good deed a day minimum and ask other to try to do atleast one good deed for someone else it feels good to go out of my way to help someone else. As karma will come back around and one day i will need help.
That’s a good policy Jason. Doing one good deed is like sewing seeds. The more you drop the more comes back to you. I’ll have to remember this. Thanks.
That sounds like a really great idea! Most of us forget to thank for the things that we get or have, which makes us expect for it to be given to us or stay the same. Which results to us not valuing them, and maybe when the time comes that we realize it, might be too late. Thanks for the advice.
Very inspiring! Counting your blessings in your everyday lives is being grateful. By doing this, you will appreciate life and it’s essence. Keeping a gratitude journal will also inspire you whenever you feel like life is being unfair. Thanks for sharing!
